Terms and Conditions - Nptrek
Welcome to Nptrek (hereinafter referred to as "the Agency"). These terms and conditions govern your use of our trekking and adventure services in Nepal. By booking a trek or using our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
Booking and Payment:
1.1. A non-refundable deposit is required when booking to confirm your trek or adventure activity.
1.2. The remaining balance must be paid in full before starting the trek or activity.
1.3. Payment methods accepted are bank transfer, credit card, or cash (in Nepalese Rupees).
Cancellations and Refunds:
2.1. In case of cancellation by the client, the deposit will not be refunded.
2.2. Cancellations made 30 days or more before the trek or activity start date may be eligible for a partial refund of the total amount paid, excluding the deposit.
2.3. No refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days before the trek or activity start date or for no-shows will be provided.
Itinerary Changes and Alterations:
3.1. The Agency reserves the right to alter the trekking or adventure activity itinerary if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or other safety concerns.
3.2. Clients will be informed of any itinerary changes immediately.
Travel Insurance:
4.1. Travel insurance that covers trekking and adventure activities, including helicopter evacuation and medical expenses, is mandatory for all clients.
4.2. The Agency may request proof of valid travel insurance before the trek or adventure activity commences.
Health and Fitness:
5.1. Trekkers and participants in adventure activities must be in good physical health and adequately prepared for the chosen trek or activity.
5.2. Clients with pre-existing medical conditions or injuries should seek medical advice before undertaking the trek or activity.
Liability and Responsibility:
6.1. Trekking and adventure activities in Nepal involve inherent risks, and the Agency will not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings during the trek or activity.
6.2. Clients participate in the trek or activity at their own risk and are responsible for their safety and belongings.
Force Majeure:
7.1. The Agency shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or governmental restrictions.
Code of Conduct:
8.1. Clients are expected to follow local customs and traditions during the trek or adventure activity, respecting the culture and environment of Nepal.
8.2. Any disrespectful, abusive, or illegal behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of the trek or activity without any refund.
Privacy Policy:
9.1. The Agency will collect and store personal information to arrange the trek or adventure activity and related services.
9.2. Client information will be treated with confidentiality and not be shared with third parties without consent.
Complaints and Disputes:
10.1. clients are encouraged to notify the Agency immediately for resolution of any complaints or disputes.
10.2. Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of Nepal and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nepalese courts.
Modification of Terms and Conditions:
11.1. The Agency reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.
11.2. Clients are advised to review the terms and conditions periodically for any updates.
By using the services of Nptrek , you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with the booking or use our services. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Nptrek .
